i just feel like a big dweeb. i think it stems from the whole “I had glasses at a super duper young age” syndrome.

I had an incredibly bad day at work filled with not welcomed news. I am a incredibly lucky chap who has grand friends, my friend Benner came over to partake of the shitty day wine.

 … we might of also watched Real Steel … and we might of liked it in a non ironic sorta way.

it was great ‘cause all he really ended up doing was laughing and walking backwards.

he’s a good going out for breakfest arguing over stuff Larry David style pal. 

i gave him yogurt starter and coconut shavings to make his own yogz.

finally installed my backpack for my mac! I can keep my MiniMac (Ipod) on there safe and away from the inevitable clutter that occurs on my desk.

I loooove my IMac and am a whore for accessories that make it even more awesome. It sincerely is the only thing I get materialistic over.

tempeh bacon (on my george foreman grilss y’all), dinosaur kale, hemp seeds, jalapeno harvarti cheese, green pepper olive/vinegar dressing … and of course a big stella bottle that my roomie picked up for me as a get better drink.

Ah the day when Keratoconjunctivitis reared it’s ugly virus butt in my face. I woke up and it was a bit swollen, then my tears formed a hair gel esq consistency and then it jumped right on over to my other eye. After that my eyes hated light, cold, pretty much anything ever. Also this infection came with nifty head cold which made me feel like I was uber hungover everyday. Fun!

Happy to report most of the redness and swelling is gone today (friday), still really sensitive. Alas i had to take most of the week off work and live like a vampire, hoping tonight I can exit my liar and share a few ale for my friends bday.

helped my good red headed friend jessie with her resume. but i think the movie and herbal sidekick prevented me from fully helping , I ended  up just shouting at her what she should do and then falling asleep. maybe I missed my profession option as a teacher.

went to see the new “girl with the dragon tattoo” the Fincher version. I like David Fincher but I feel that with his last two movies he has dialled down he visual inventiveness a bit, which is maturity I guess, i just really dig the sensory overload Fincher.

The movie was a well acted/shot/scored movie big on atmosphere, little on surprises.

That shot is not from the movie by the by, it’s from one of those animated “turn off your cell” things.

Last night’s festivities left me with a pretty empty tank to chug along with today.

I did manage to leave the house and have breakfast with this cool buddy. Georgia. She takes nice pictures and is enjoyably odd.

FRIDAY THE 13th! Nah, the most unlucky thing was the horrible food I had at Confusion Bar ‘N Grill during my lunch break. ( I know Cuban and Rueben sound alike, but why would salad dressing be a combo of pureed Willy Wonka Nerd candy and red wine vinegar [?])

Friday.Pay day. Of course I’m going to have a businesses lunch! If you’re unsure of what a business lunch consists of  … look at the pint. The only good part of the lunch by the by.

I had my business lunch with one of my roomies (pictured) Ryguy, he conveniently works next to me. 

Happy Jason day all of you guys, watch a horror movie or dance or something. Just be cool.
